Prepare for the 2020-21 flu season using the information on this set of pages.


Update: Local School Immunisation Catchup Arrangements 2020-21

Vaccination UK will provide catch up clinics for children who have missed a vaccination that was scheduled in school. A clinic timetable can be downloaded in the side bar to the right.

  • The clinics offer the influenza vaccination as well as HPV, Men ACWY and DTP vaccines (see eligibility criteria below).
  • All children from reception age to school year seven are eligible for the flu vaccination. This will be offered later in the season.
  • Clinic appointments are necessary. The opening hours vary by location, within the hours 9.30am-3pm during the holidays and 3.30pm-6pm from 1 September 2020. 

Vaccine Eligibility


  • Year 8 boys and girls only
  • Year 9-12 girls who have missed the vaccination.


  • Year 9 boys and girls 
  • Any year 9-12 students who have missed the vaccination in a previous year. Both vaccinations are given at the same time.


  • available to school aged children who have not received either one or two doses of the vaccine.

Winter flu season 2020-21

To access records for patient flu vaccinations, sign up to Sonar (it only takes two minutes). You can also acknowledge your patients or mark as NOP direct from the system.

Please use the London Flu website to search for pharmacies providing the flu vaccination service in London. Please signpost patients to pharmacies as appropriate.
