Face Masks for Phlebotomy Appointments

GP practices are not required to supply their patients with face masks for phlebotomy appointments, nor does the patient have to bring their own. Face masks will be provided to patients by the phlebotomy service, on arrival at a community phlebotomy site.

Please note: patients without an appointment will not be seen and must therefore not enter the premises.

Please ensure you have read the NCL Covid-19 website article, GP direct-access pathology: access to phlebotomy services posted on Friday 1 May 2020, or see the phlebotomy topic page.
