Islington CCG Clinical Lead for Child and Adult Safeguarding

We are inviting expressions of interest for a GP clinical lead for child and adult safeguarding for Islington CCG. The roles will commence on Friday 10 January 2020. Due to the CCG re-structure the posts will initially run until 31 March 2020 with a view to extend.

Expressions of interest are welcome for either child or adult safeguarding as separate roles or combined.

The adult safeguarding role provides four sessions per month. The child safeguarding role provides eight sessions per month. These are statutory roles as the Named GP for Safeguarding and you will support the safeguarding framework across the borough, providing strong strategic leadership and clinical expertise to support Islington CCG.

Expressions of interest, of no more than 250 words, outlining why you are interested in the role, are welcome from those with or without particular experience in this field.

We recognise the need for supervision as part of this role, to provide support and opportunity for reflective practice commensurate with the nature of the work. You will join an energetic safeguarding team committed to the safety and wellbeing of our residents in challenging and vulnerable circumstances. You will attend borough wide multidisciplinary team meetings to support individuals in need. For expected availability click here.

Please see the Child Safeguarding job description for further information.
Please see the Adult Safeguarding job description for further information.
