Scope enables disabled patients to find work through two services: Kickstart and Starting Line.

Kickstart is a one-to-one service that aims to:

  • Provide help with CV and interview techniques
  • Discuss reasonable adjustments and encourage individuals to speak positively about their disability
  • Provide an individual with the support that they need to find and keep paid employment
  • Provide ongoing support to the customer and the employer

Starting Line is a seven week pre-employment course that helps disabled jobseekers:

  • Develop employability skills
  • With CV and interview techniques
  • Find volunteering, training and work experience opportunities

Eligibility criteria

Inclusions

  • Age 16+ residents of Islington, Camden, Hackney or Newham
  • Those who are disabled and looking for work, volunteering or training
