During the global coronavirus pandemic people are facing a tragic loss of life, often under very difficult circumstances. Death from any cause during this time may make feelings of loneliness and grief much more intense, and practical difficulties may arise. Local counselling services continue to operate during the outbreak.
Both iCope Psychological Therapies and Camden, City, Islington and Westminster Bereavement Service (CCIWBS) can provide support to both members of the public finding it difficult to cope during the pandemic and front-line NHS staff/key workers.
In addition to the local Islington services listed below, national charities Cruse and Samaritans offer bereavement support.
